My name is Zach and just came to Albany via Louisville KY where I fell in love with cycling. It changed my life in so many ways. Full disclosure (why I come to need another bike)….. I was on parole for a ‘19 drug offense and didn’t comply. I returned to jail to complete my sentence and lost everything I owned. It’s all behind me, but I’m at the Ground Floor. Homeless but not hopeless. Got released mid-February and it was too cold so I headed south and here I am. Looking for a job also if you know of one. A bike would really open those doors for employment.
I appreciate all offers, however no offense…… I’m not interested in any Walmart or Department Store Bikes. Too much frustration and the riding experience isn’t there. I’m looking for that 10-20yr old Road Bike or Rigid Flat Bar. That Scott, Giant, Specialized, Fuji….. you know the ones. Medium Frame 700c or 29”. The bikes I’m seeing on Marketplace that fit this bill are averaging $400-$1200. Medium Frame Rigid 29”/700c Bikes. End goal is Singlespeed conversion.
I am totally willing to work for the bike. Yard work, housework, whatever. Got some crazy request you’re afraid to ask?? Just ask that s##t. Depends on the bike I suppose. I want a certain bike pretty bad. Need me to grill for your son’s graduation party? I got you. Rebuild your deck? I got you. Build a privacy fence? I got you. Change your cars brake pads or change the oil??? Take a guess…… I got you. Isn’t much I can’t do or won’t do for a bike. Email or message with any questions.
