Rehoming fee of $5. They will be ready for pickup on 3/2/26. We will have 10 baby chicks available. We will include some pictures of grown hens and roosters to see what they will look like once grown.
These are large, stately birds of quiet disposition. They are known as friendly and docile. Very good around children. A true dual purpose bird, they are easy to dress for the table, they are white skinned, plump, and juicy, a beautiful eating bird. They are reliable layers of large brown eggs, around 200–280 per year and are excellent winter layers. They are also very broody and make good mothers. Our 9 hens are laying 8 eggs per day right now.
